❤️🖤 ENROLMENT FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 🖤❤️

Dear Parents,

Kilteevan NS is a two-teacher primary school, situated a 7 minute drive from Roscommon Town Centre, in the peaceful village of Kilteevan. Our eircode is F42 YY76.

Pupils are taught in multigrade classrooms, with Junior Infants to Second Class taught in the Junior Room and Third to Sixth Classes taught in the Senior Room. This year’s mainstream class teachers are substitute teachers Ms Tarmey and Ms Slyman respectively.

Pupils receive support with literacy, numeracy, emotional, social or behavioural needs from the school’s full-time Special Education Teacher (S.E.T.) Ms. O’Connor, while support is also provided by our visiting teachers Mrs. Carroll (E.A.L.) and Mr. Noone (S.E.T.). We have two full-time Special Needs Assistants (S.N.A.s) at present; Vicky and Rachel, who provide very important care for pupils.

While this year’s deadline for enrolment applications for September 2026 has passed, late applications may be considered.

We welcome girls and boys from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. Our pupils enjoy low pupil teacher ratio, a peaceful rural setting and engage in a wide variety of activities. Regular updates from daily school life can be found on our social media page  https://www.facebook.com/KilteevanNS

If you would like a copy of our school’s enrolment application form or to arrange an appointment to see our school in action, please contact us by email on kilteevannsoffice@gmail.com or by phone on 090 66 25936.

The Board of Management of Kilteevan N.S. are fully committed to providing Breakfast Club, Infant Supervision and Afterschool Club from September 2026, if sufficient numbers are interested to make these services viable.

The school’s Annual Admissions Notice and Admissions Policy are available to view on www.kilteevanns.com/enrolment.

Come join us in Kilteevan N.S.!

Kind regards,

Ms Susan O’Connor

Acting Principal

A Letter from Mrs. Coyle, Principal

Dear Parents & Guardians,

I hope this message finds you and your families well as we prepare to begin a new school year here at Kilteevan National School.

My name is Anna Coyle and I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Principal of Kilteevan National School. It is a great honour to join such a warm and welcoming school community and I am truly looking forward to getting to know all pupils, parents and staff in the weeks and months ahead.

I am passionate about creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. In Kilteevan National School, we will continue to build on the strong foundations already in place. I am committed to working closely with our dedicated staff, the Board of Management and most importantly, with you—the parents and guardians who play such a vital role in your child’s education.

As we begin the new term, our focus will be on settling the children back into school routines, supporting their wellbeing and creating a positive atmosphere where learning is fun, engaging and meaningful.

Communication is very important to me and I warmly welcome your thoughts or questions at any stage. I hope to meet many of you in person over the coming weeks, whether at the school gate, at events or during meetings.

I would like to welcome Ms. Tarmey and Mr. Noone to our staff. We are thrilled to have you both joining our team. Your dedication to education will inspire both students and staff and we look forward to supporting you both as you embark on this exciting journey with us. I would also like to warmly welcome back Ms O’Connor – Deputy Principal, Vicky and Rachel (SNA’s) and our secretary, Lena. Here’s to a great year ahead filled with learning, growth and success!

Thank you for your continued support and for the trust you place in us to care for and educate your children. I am truly looking forward to the months ahead and all that we will achieve together.

Le meas,

Mrs. Anna Coyle
Principal
